Will I Travel? Yes!

Some brides wonder why a small-town photographer on the Delmarva Peninsula wanders all the way to Northern Virginia and Washington, D.C., to photograph weddings.

The answer is: I have family there. And wedding assignments offer me tax-deductible opportunities to visit.

So, I don't charge travel fees within a one-hour drive from Washington, DC, or Salisbury. Beyond that, the fee often depends on rehearsal coverage. This I provide for free, contingent on not having another assignment on the day of the rehearsal. To facilitate this free coverage, I may ask a fee to allow me to stay overnight nearby. That way, I can return from the rehearsal, prepare a slideshow for the wedding reception, and start early in the morning when the bride begins preparations.

For travel far outside the D.C. area or Eastern Shore of Maryland, I'm happy to provide a quote. If clients like the quality of my work, I'll go just about anywhere to provide it.
